We’ve been doing our thing in Bristol for a while now and have had more than our fair share of Bath folk joining us. This led us to discussions with Bath Council as to how we could provide a great place for like minded businesses in Bath.
The old Newark Works building on Lower Bristol Road is a difficult site, with dilapidated buildings, sensitive planning and conservation issues and a history of false starts. Sounds exciting, doesn’t it..?
We know that companies and innovators demand fantastic, inspiring space with vibrancy and collaboration. Newark Works will provide this and more, with internal streets, endless meeting and breakout areas and spaces for single co workers through to established companies with up to 40 staff.
Works start in 2016 and are expected to cost in excess of £5 million, with that again in creativity, blood, sweat and tears.
Following our experience of the demand and success of companies in the South West, we expect to experience high occupancy levels and depth in demand. This will allow the end project to be financed by our banking partners. With TCN’s long term involvement in managing the campus, we will ensure that the cluster will thrive and continue to attract great businesses into the future.
